Espresso Nirvana

It shares many opinions i have had for a long time now. I would suffice to say that nirvana or the god shot would be doing the best you can to produce the best shot of espresso you can given your circumstances, such as equipment, beans, grinders, water or whatever. We used some dodgy gear eh Pete? and we did get some very tastey 'espresso'/coffee at the time. That was nirvana despite us being able to produce a much superior product now. Which is todays nirvana i guess.

Check it out, he explains a lot more than i can in a short space here.

Have a merry jolly christmas if i don't post before then again!

Yay! A post!

I agree with you, and for the most part, Mark as well. I will disagree however with you putting espresso in quotes. We did create espresso with our 10 buck ebay machines...

Have a good christmas too, but I'll try to bang out an email before then...

I'm missing the good old days,
Peter

Hey dude! Definately agree with you especially when we home roasted but let's face it we tamped with a glass cup (this makes using a real tamper fairly awkward these days. I miss that glass!) I miss the unique traits those machines carried. You need to have a word with steph and chiara and get them up and running with the cafe dude. Apparently it hasn't opened yet this year? talk soon
